Aims of this live, online workshop

  • This workshop is an introduction for leaders and managers who are investigating, or intending to introduce, the option of remote or home working for workers in response to economic or practical drivers.

  • It is a management-focused programme around attracting and retaining a flexible workforce with specific emphasis on remote working.

  • It gives an overview of web-tools supporting remote working, enabling businesses large and small to enable staff to work more flexibly from home and on the move, at little cost.

The workshop will provide an introduction to:

  • The business benefits of remote working.

  • Detailed case studies

  • Attracting and retaining staff with remote working

  • Remote Working Agreements

  • Supporting and managing the remote worker

  • Cheap and free Web tools to facilitate remote working.

  • Return on investment for their adoption of remote working.

Widening access to working opportunities through remote working is catering for a more diverse work force. This webinar shows small and medium-sized businesses how to use remote working to benefit the employee, the business, and the customer.
